Encouragement for jobseekers and host companies

Career Trial aims to encourage jobseekers and host companies who are unsure about the job fit to go through a short-term trial before considering formal employment.
How you can benefit
  • Short-term trial (up to 480 hours for Full-time position; 240 hours for Part-time position)
  • Training allowance of $7.50 – $15.00 per hour
  • $500 for 3 months retention; $1,000 for 6 months retention (Additional criteria applies)

Mid-Career Programme

SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme for Mature Mid-career Individuals

The SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme is a full-time attachment programme for mature mid-career individuals aged 40 and above who are looking for a switch in careers. Suitable applicants will be attached to a host organisation where they can gain meaningful industry-relevant skills and experience. The attachments will last between four to six months.
How you can benefit

Mature mid-career individuals (aged 40 and above) can embark on industry-relevant attachment programme lasting up to six months with approved host organisations to gain industry-relevant experience, develop new skills and boost their employability. They can look forward to conversion to a full-time role with their host organisations if their training and performance is assessed to be satisfactory during the attachment.

Training Allowance

Mature mid-career trainees will receive a training allowance of up to $3,800 per month for the duration of the attachment or programme. The approved monthly training allowance may vary depending on the scope of the attachment proposed by the host organisation. The government co-funds the training allowance with the host organisation.

Career Conversion Program

Career Conversion Programmes (CCP) for Employers

Career Conversion Programmes (CCPs) help companies in Singapore meet their manpower needs by reskilling mid-career new hires and workers for growth jobs in demand.
How you can benefit
  • Up to 90% salary support to reskill mid-career individuals into in-demand growth jobs
  • Industry-recognised training to reskill mid-career individuals for in-demand growth jobs
  • Close to 100 CCPs to support reskilling across around 30 sectors

Important Things To Note

No hiring of family members

Family members related to directors and shareholders are not advisable to be part of the programme.


No CPF Contribution


No CPF contribution is needed except for career conversion programme (CCP)

Application Timeline


The duration from application to approval ranges from 1 week – 4 weeks.
