SWEAG PTRG Grant
The SWEAG (SENIOR WORKER EARLY ADOPTER GRANT) and PTRG (PART-TIME RE-EMPLOYMENT GRANT) incentivise companies to implement age-friendly employment practices.
Grant Eligibility
- Be registered in Singapore
– Including societies and non-profits like charities and VWOs - Employ senior worker(s) above 60 years old
– Such workers must:
(i) be SG citizen or PR,
(ii) be paid CPF,
(iii) be employed for at least 3 months on permanent basis or contract of at least 12 months, and
(iv) not be ACRA – listed personnel or shareholders
Details of Each Component
PTRG
– Provides grant of $2500 per qualifying senior workers
– In exchange, your company has to commit to providing Part-Time re-employment opportunities to senior workers who have past their retirement age but who are still within the re-employment age, upon their request for such part-time workload

Grant Amount
- Qualifying Senior Worker
$2,500 per worker for SWEAG, and $2,500 per worker for PTRG - Capped at $250,000 (50 Senior Worker) per Company
Made up of $125,000 per company for SWEAG, and $125,000 per company for PTRG
Important Things To Note
No hiring of family members
Family members related to directors and shareholders are not advisable to be part of the programme.
No CPF Contribution
No CPF contribution is needed except for career conversion programme (CCP)

Application Timeline
The duration from application to approval ranges from 1 week – 4 weeks.
Frequently Asked Questions
After the Offer Letter is accepted, employers have to complete the following deliverables before claiming for the grant reimbursement:
a) Adopt the TS-AWP and provide the necessary documentation/information to show adoption of the standard
b) Furnish sail-through/updated HR policy on:
i. SWEAG: internal retirement and re-employment ages showing the
increase from the current policy
ii. PTRG: the part time re-employment policy for SWs
c) Communicate the new HR policy in (b) to all employees (e.g. employer’s staff website, circular/ memo, employee handbook issued).
d) Submit duly completed claim form that provides information on all senior workers.
e) Issue addendums (specific clauses will be provided) to employment contracts documenting the policy change in (b) to all employees:
f) For SWs, the addendums will need to be individually addressed to and signed by the SWs.
g) For all other workers, the addendums can be standardised without having to be individually addressed nor acknowledged.
h) Submit CPF Form 90 for all senior workers being claimed.
i) Prepare NRICs of SWs for sighting by the programme partner (either physically, virtually or via photocopies).
